Physical Therapy Providers
Clinical Director of Physical Therapy
Dr. Kevin Williams grew up in Mesa, AZ, graduating from Mountain View High School. After graduating, he served a mission for his church for 2 years in Chile, learning the language and culture of the Chilean people. After returning home, he resumed his schooling and graduated with a B.S. in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University. After graduating, he joined the United States Army as a combat medic and served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper. After leaving the military, he attended the University of St. Augustine and earned his doctorate degree in physical therapy.
Dr. Williams is focused on helping people move and feel better. He enjoys working with people of all ages. He has experience and enjoys working with a variety of orthopedic injuries, elders, veterans, post-surgical patients, and athletes from professional levels to amateur and kids. He has advanced training in myofascial release, dry needling, IASTM, joint manipulation and mobilization, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Dr. Williams enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, going to the lake, hiking, skiing, and exploring Arizona with his family. Family is very important to him as he spends most of his time outside of work with his wife, Melissa, and his 3 sons and daughter.
Physical Therapist
Gabe is a new resident to the metro Phoenix area but was born and raised just a few hours south, in Tucson, Arizona. He was very active as a child and loved being outside with his friends and family, however particularly thrived on the baseball field. Upon graduating from high school, he accepted a scholarship to play baseball in the majestic oil fields of West Texas at Odessa College. That is where Gabe solidified his desire to pursue a career in Physical Therapy after multiple season-ending injuries and months of rehabilitation.
Following his time in Odessa, Texas, Gabe moved back to Tucson to finish his degree in Nutritional Sciences and be closer to his high school sweetheart. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2019, and moved to Flagstaff to pursue his degree in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University. Outside of work Gabe enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashlyn, and dog, Harley, going on adventures and being out in nature. Family means everything to Gabe, and he understands the importance of helping patients restore their independence so they can enjoy time with their loved ones as well.
Physical Therapy is much more to Gabe than rehabbing physical injuries. In his eyes, it is about connecting with people and building meaningful relationships to customize the perfect plan for them. Gabe is a ‘movement first’ PT that utilizes manual therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization, and a gentle smile to empower his patients to reach their goals.
Physical Therapist
Before moving to Arizona in the summer of 2018, Taylor was a former collegiate basketball player at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota where she received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training before pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of South Dakota. She is certified in dry needling and has experience with pelvic floor physical therapy. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys golfing, woodworking, gardening, fishing and spending time outdoors.
Physical Therapist
Dr. Robert Mitchell Todd grew up in Florida originally playing multiple sports and spending time at the beach year-round. He has since enjoyed traveling and living all across the country having visited all but one of the fifty US states. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida, awakening a passion to help rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries others experience. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Athletic Training degree from the University of Kentucky, where
he served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for 2.5 years providing care to the university’s football, basketball, and track & field teams. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree with honors from Florida Gulf Coast University. He has since completed the US Musculoskeletal Residency program in addition to earning his Board Certification in Orthopedics.
With a desire to give back to underserved communities, Dr. Todd accepted a traveling PT position at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, NM where he provided care to patients from multiple tribes while serving primarily those from Navajo Nation at the Indian Health Service facility. He then accepted a full-time position as a civilian before commissioning into the US Public Health Commissioned Corps of Officers. Dr. Todd continued to serve at Northern Navajo Medical Center before transferring duty stations to River People Health Center. As an active duty officer, he has been on multiple deployments to assist with both regional and national crises in a variety of roles.
As a therapist, Dr. Todd thrives on helping patients restore strength and mobility while also regaining and learning new confidence in themselves to be their best self. He primarily specializes in both orthopedics and sports populations and has advanced training in running gait analysis, blood flow restriction, and manual therapy. Dr. Todd believes in being a lifelong learner and is constantly on the lookout for new learning opportunities and skills sets that he can use to provide the highest level of care to his patients.
Physical Therapist
Ali is a native to Michigan and moved to Phoenix in 2020 to take advantage of the warmer weather here in Arizona. She has been a Physical Therapist since 2018 but became interested in the profession when taking a high school anatomy class and having a strong desire to help others. After multiple injuries in her youth that, looking back now, could have benefited from Physical Therapy, she decided to pursue this career. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Oakland University in metro-Detroit.
Ali enjoys spending time with her husband, Troy, and two dogs, Theodore and Alvin. She tries to spend as much time outside as she can hiking, swimming, and biking. She loves living an active lifestyle and understands how important it is for her patients as well.
Ali gets great job satisfaction out of helping her patients regain their functional abilities and get back todoing what is important to them. She enjoys working with patients with a variety of issues of all ages.She believes that patients teach her just as much as she teaches them and loves getting to know patients as they go through their rehabilitation process.
Physical Therapy Assistant
Heather is a former international educator (Turkey, Dubai, Oman) with a Master’s in Education from ASU in Tempe who has retrained as a Physical Therapist Assistant at GateWay Community College in Phoenix. She is an LSVT Big certified clinician to help people with Parkinson’s Disease. Her physical therapy special interests include falls prevention in seniors via the Otago Exercise Program, rehabilitation of neurological patients, and wound care and lymphedema. She enjoys traveling and meeting people from other cultures, learning languages (she has studied German, Spanish, and Turkish), cooking and baking, going to the movies, attending Reformer Pilates classes, visiting the Desert Botanical Garden throughout the year, and growing desert plants (aloe varieties and desert roses) on her patio.
